ProMASS News Bureau: Agartala, Sep 10, 2016: Vijaya Bank has felicitated Khel Ratna Awardee of 2016, Dipa Karmakar and Dronacharya Awardee as well as Coach of Dipa, Bishweshwar Nandi today.

In a programme organized at Agartala Press Club, MD & CEO of Vijaya Bank Dr Kishore Sansi presented Dipa Karmakar with a cheque of Rs 2.50 lakhs ‘as a token of appreciation’ for her contribution in the field of sports. The Regional Manager, Guwahati Region Sarvesh Kumar Rastogi honoured Bishweshwar Nandi with a bouquet.
As a part of Vijaya Bank’s CSR Programme, the Bank has adopted two girl child, namely Pushpanjali Paul and Mukta Karmakar. Dr Sansi has handed over Rs 5000 to each at the event.
