BSNL attains highest net addition of new customers

ProMASS, Dec 8, 2017: The Public Sector telecom giant, BSNL has registered the highest growth in the country in providing new connections during August-2016 as per Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) report as on November 25, 2016. BSNL has achieved a monthly growth rate of 1.82% against industry negative growth of 0.52%.

Sources said, BSNL added 16,46,528 lakh new mobile customers in August which is highest among all operators and thereby increasing its market share from 8.77% to 8.98% (Up by 0.21% from July 16). Director (CM) BSNL board, R K Mittal said, “We are thankful to our esteemed customers for their continued support and this growth is basically due to widespread data coverage and lower tariff prices of BSNL”.
