Bengaluru is paying its last adieu to martyr Lt Colonel Niranjan. Hundreds of people are lining up to pay tributes as the distraught family looks on. Chief Minister of Karnataka also paid floral tributes. Lt Col Niranjan, a member of the NSG’s Bomb Disposal Squad, died after he succumbed to injuries which he sustained while he was trying to retrieve a live grenade from the body of a dead terrorist at the scene of the terror attack as part of the combing operations.
Martyred Garud Commando Gursewak Singh was today accorded 21 gun salute in Garnala in Ambala. The 27 year old hero had laid down his life while fighting terrorists who had attacked the Pathankot Airbase.
Martyr Commando Gurusewak’s family members remembered him as a brave son of the soil.
