Veteran CPI leader A B Bardhan, who was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Delhi following paralytic stroke last month passed away on Saturday. 92 year old Bardhan was undergoing treatment at G.B.Pant Hospital.
He has been a leading figure of the trade union movement and left politics.
He played a key role in maintaining the space for Communists in national politics.
