Chief Minister of Tripura Dr. Manik Saha said that even today, poet Kazi Nazrul Islam is highly relevant. Standing on this day, it is important to read and learn about poet Kazi Nazrul Islam. Through his poems, essays and stories, we can learn about exploitation and oppression. So we must not forget him. There is a lot to be learned from the way he struggled through life in abject poverty. He has given a lot to society. We all know him as a rebel poet from his thoughts, consciousness and writing. He has composed about 3 thousand songs.
Nazrul’s life story is an inspiration
Speaking at a program organized to celebrate the 125th birth anniversary of poet Kazi Nazrul Islam at Renter’s Colony area in Agartala on Saturday, the Chief Minister said that the life stories and history of all these great men teach us that a lot can be gained through suffering. We can get the idea of doing something for the society from them. I would like to thank Maitri Sansad and the 125th Kazi Nazrul Islam Birth Anniversary Committee for working for the society. The way they are trying to take this area towards the goal of development is commendable. We have also extended our cooperation from the state government. Because our life is in this culture. Nothing will happen without culture.

Dr. Saha also praised the initiative of the late eminent poet and writer Shyamal Chowdhury, who was behind the organization of this program. The environment of Renters Colony has changed. For this, the work of Maitri Sansad and other committees deserves appreciation. It is very nice to have guests from West Bengal and Bangladesh here. The Chief Minister also expressed his opinion that if everyone could take a picture in a good situation, it would be worth remembering.
