Matri Shakti (the maternal power) is awakened and the nation’s progress is with Modi, said BJP’s candidate for the West Tripura Parliamentary constituency Biplab Kumar Deb while campaigning at Kakrabon under Gomati district on Thursday. He attended a meeting at Tulamura ‘Shakti Kendra’ and a joining programme today.
Overwhelmed at the people’s response and support for the Prime Minister, Deb reiterated ‘once again Modi Government’.
Earlier, Deb campaigned at Birchandra Bazar in Santirbazar on Thursday amidst inclement weather and fired salvos at the CPIM-Congress for ‘cheating’ the people of the state through a secret tie-up for a long time.
He said, “Those who create unrest in Tripura for political gain and the supporters of terrorism are again trying to mislead the people of the state”.
He stated that the citizens of the state are prepared to respond appropriately to the CPIM and Congress in the upcoming elections in a democratic manner.
Expressing gratitude for the overwhelming response and support from the people towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Deb mentioned that the BJP is poised to win the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls by a significant margin. He urged the public to vote for the BJP to strengthen Modi's leadership.
Additionally, Deb welcomed several opposition voters who joined the BJP after the election rally on Thursday.
During the rally, MLA Pramod Reang, former MLA Biplab Ghosh, BJP's South Tripura district president Shankar Roy, and leaders from Tipra Motha and IPFT were present.
Despite inclement weather, Deb, along with hundreds of party workers, participated in a roadshow starting from Bankar under Belonia mandal. However, the roadshow was later canceled due to heavy rainfall. Deb assured that he would return to meet the party workers of Belonia soon.
