ProMASS: Dec 27, 2016: In a shocking incidence, President of ST Mondal committe, BJP and an elected village committee member Chanmohan Tripura(34) was beaten to death by some unknown miscreants yesterday afternoon. Tension gripped Puran Dalapati ADC village of Gandacherra Sub Division in Dhalai district, Tripura after the leader was killed. Police nabbed one murder suspect. The killing sparked political hullabol in the State and BJP had already blamed CPIM.
BJP president Biplab Deb, currently in Delhi is expected to inform the Home Ministry. Reacting on murder of Chanmohan Tripura, Deb said the murder seemd to have been politically planned as the ruling party became worried at the BJP’s growing influences and obvious inroads in the tribal areas.
