Agartala, February 15, 2019: With heavy hearts, Tripura Government – on behalf of the people of the State – has today announced ex-gratia to families of martyred CRPF jawans.

The BJP-led Tripura government has announced ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh to the families of 42 CRPF men each who were yesterday martyred during a terror strike in Pulwama of Jammu and Kashmir yesterday (on Thursday).
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb also prayed for speedy recovery of the injured jawans and conveyed the deepest sympathy towards the bereaved families.
Meanwhile, A Candle Light March was organised by State BJP in Agartala to pay homage to the martyrs of Pulwama. State BJP leaders including Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb took part in the Candle Light March. Also, large number of common people spontaneously joined the Candle Light March.
In his post in FaceBook, Deb wrote, “A grateful India bows to our valiant martyrs.”
