Bishalgarh Mahila Morcha president, Ruma Saha , associated with the saffron party – came under attack by miscreants. Under the cover of darkness at night, miscreants smashed window of Ruma Saha’s house and set her Scorpio car on fire.

Ruma Saha resides at Ward 3 at Office Tilla under Bishalgarh PS.

“Attack on ruling party activist’s house has sparked panic among the local people”, sources said and added, audacity of miscreants is obvious – it’s a daring act. Even before Police could be informed and they reached the place, miscreants did the damage and safely fled away. “This act has created a felling of lack of security amongst common people. Police must take it seriously”, an elderly person of Office Tilla area said on condition of anonymity.

Today morning, local BJP leaders rushed to the spot and met Ruma Saha. “It is an unfortunate and highly condemnable act of hooliganism”, BJP leaders said.
