October 26, 2017: Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) today hit streets in ‘search’ of PM Narendra Modi’s ‘Acche Din’ and Tripura CM Manik Sarkar’s ‘Swarna Yog’. Led by TPCC chief Birajit Sinha , Congress today started month-long Padayatra to highlight ‘real’ conditions of Tripura people in the backdrop of Modi and Tripura CM’s slogans.
Congress Party sources said, during month-long march, Congress supporters will inquire about implementation and progress of developmental works in all of the 60 Assembly constituencies. “Congress supporters will assess implementation of developmental works as well as utilization of public money – State and Central funds”, Sinha stated. The month-long march by Congress supporters will unmask the real picture of ‘Acche Din’ and Swarna Yog’, he commented.
Lashing out at both BJP and CPM, Sinha slammed the Central Government for its ‘failures’ to keep promises made during run up to last LS Polls. “How long people will have to wait for Modi’s Acche Din”, he asked. In the same vein, PCC chief fired salvo at ruling CPM and blamed it for under development. Mocking at ‘Golden Era’ coined by the Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, he focused on under development in various sectors.
