ProMASS News Bureau: Aug 25, 2016: Nagaland Governor P B Acharya has said it was “high time that women should be included in peace talks with various militant groups in the North East.” In a press release issued through its PRO, Acharya further noted that protection of women and children from violence must be prioritized. He said peace and security is vital to acknowledge the disproportionate impact of violent conflict on women and children, conflict prevention, conflict mediation, and all aspects of post-conflict reconstruction.
