Apr 04, 2017: Chief Minister of Tripura, Manik Sarkar today visited Sonamura sub-division under Sepahijala District. He inspected progress of several projects and asked concerned officials to work aiming to complete the implementation withing target date. Later he address a public meeting and rapped the Opposition as well as Central Government on various issues. He urged to maintain communal harmony in the State.
In the wake of exodus from Trinamool Congress to BJP, All India TMC Vice President Mukul Roy will arrive in Agartala tommorow (March 05). The objective of his visit is to revitalize the organization before forthcoming Assembly Polls in Tripura scheduled to be held in 2018.
All India BJP President Amit Shah will arrive in Agartala in a two-day visit on May 6 and will hold meetings with local leaders. Speaking at Press Conference State Prabhari of BJP Sunil Deodhar stated this. State BJP President Biplab Deb said, Mahila Morcha will organize a ‘March to Secretariat’ on April 9 protesting against ‘increasing’ crimes against women and demanding resignation of the CM over 10323 teachers’ termination case. Demanding CM’s resignation on similar ground, Yuva Morcha will also held agitation on April 10, Biplab Deb stated.
