Assam CM asked police officers to make NER corruption free

Assam Chief Minister, Sarbananda Sonowal has asked police officers to work towards making the North-Eastern states free from corruption, terror and intrusion of foreigners. Addressing the passing out parade at North Eastern Police Academy in Meghalaya, Sonowal said the most dangerous threat is terrorists, as they are armed with sophisticated weapons and resources. Nagaland Home Minister, Y. Patton also attended the function. Altogether, 98 trainees from all the eight North-East states completed the 48 weeks training.
