In Assam, two alleged terrorists belonging to anti talk faction of the Karbi People’s Liberation Tigers were killed in Karbi Anglong district. Additional DGP Pallab Bhattacharya said that an encounter between security forces and terrorists took place at Tarabari inside Langlakso jungle under Samelangso police station. In the exchange of fire, two militants were injured and later succumbed to injuries. Arms and ammunitions were also recovered.
