BJP National President Amit Shah to visit Assam today

BJP National President Amit Shah will visit Assam today. He will participate in Bodoland Day celebration in Kokrajhar. The day is observed to commemorate the signing of Bodoland Territorial Council accord in 2003. Bodoland People’s Front, which is the ruling party of Bodoland Territorial Council, has formed alliance with BJP in Assam. Several senior leaders of Bodoland Peoples Front will also attend the program. Mr. Shah will also visit Nagaon today to take part in a public meeting. He will also hold talks with senior party leaders of the state to take stock of assembly poll preparations.
