December 17, 2017: Weakness is the root cause of sufferings of Hindu communities, shedding weakness we need to acquire strength to show the world right path, said the RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat today in Agartala. He said, a society or individual can gain strength through organization which acts without self interests, like RSS.
In his speech, Mohan Bhagwat revealed about activities of RSS elaborately and explained the meaning of Hinduness. He said, RSS is involved in more than one lakh 70 thousand different types of social activities in health, education, livelihood and other sectors.
He hailed Union Government’s decision to provide shelter to Hindu refugees and referring to ancient times, he said, we all have Hindu ancestors, we are sons of Mother India. In this context he lamented present education system teaches us about defeats and downfall of Hindu society instead of focusing on glorious and laminating past of our ancestors when India – as a nation flourished in every sphere of life – trade, ayurveda, social system – and showed the world righteous path to live in harmony.
Despite worldwide successes and achievements, our ancestors never tried to convert people, He also said, RSS strongly believes in unity in diversity. He said, we respect all beliefs – there is no need to change one’s belief – stay in peace.
Highlighting ‘dilemma’ of present world system, Bhagwat said, all the system including materialism and socialism failed to bring peace and now the world has pinned its faith on India to show the right path. He said, only Sanatan India can depict the path balancing materialism and spiritualism in perfect manner so that individuals and societies can thrive without disturbing tranquility and peace of minds.
In his speech, Bhagwat remembered self sacrifice of Dinendra nath dey, Subhankar Chakraborty, Sudhamoy Dutta and Shyamal kanti Sengupta and he hailed their sacrifices in order to protect the Dharma and achieve an organized society.
