In Manipur, three militants including one female cadre of two militant outfits have been arrested by Manipur Police and Assam Rifles from two different places.
One cadre of Kangleipak Communist Party(KCP) was arrested on Sep 19 by Assam Rifles from Pangei under Heingang Police Station in Imphal East. In a press release, Assam Rifles PRO at Imphal said Myanmar currency worth 200 Kyats has been recovered from the militant.
In another incident, two militants including a female cadre belonging to the militant outfit – United National Liberation Front(UNLF) were arrested Sep 18 from Langathel area under Kakching Police Station in Thoubal District. All the arrested militants have been handed over to nearest police stations and cases have been registered against them.
