Tripura: BJP hands out Rs 2L to widow of slain BJP worker

December 14: In presence of media persons, Tripura BJP unit today extended financial assistance to slain BJP supporter’s family members. Amidst flashing cameras and reporters, widow of Gourhari Molsom, Rampui Molsom flanked by children and family members received a cheque of Rs two lakhs. BJP State president handed over the cheque in presence of State prabhari Sunil Deodhar today in Agartala.

Gaurhari Molsom – a tribal grass root BJP worker – was shot dead by some miscreants at the wee hours of November 29 at Atharobhola village under Gomati district in Tripura.  Citing the killing, BJP pressed for President’s rule in Tripura immediately after the incidence.
