Agartala, April 06, 2019: Attendance of large number of Indigenous people and also people belonging to minority community is the hallmark of Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb’s Poll rallies. Much to the relief of saffron camp, Biplab Deb is drawing indigenous people in large number in almost every meeting. With tribal-centric IPFT and Royal family member of Congress are in the fray, winning confidence of Indigenous people will be crucial and Biplab Deb is successfully doing this so far, informed sources said.
In Gandachhera under Dhalai district, largely dominated by indigenous people, Biplab Kumar Deb today held a road show in support of BJP nominee Rebati Tripura. “Enthusiastic people – men and women – took part in the Road show while onlookers along the entire route cheered the Chief Minister”, local sources said and added, support base for saffron party is fast expanding in hill areas and indigenous people are decisively inclining to BJP.
In Kadamtala under North Tripura, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb launched a blistering attack on Rahul Gandhi and Congress and highlighted achievements of Modi-led Government during last five years. Training guns at Congress, Biplab Deb said, Congress believes in family dynasty, however, BJP never encourages any such dynasty. He also lashed out at CPIM and urged people Biplab Kumar Deb to vote for BJP nominees.
Addressing the crowd at Kadamtala, Deb said, “Our nation has marched forward under leadership of PM Narendra Modi and on the path of becoming a New India at a record pace during last five years. His committed stewardship has proved that everything is possible, if there is Modi (‘Modi Hai To Mumkin Hai’)”.
