February 08, 2018: The era of development is about to begin in Tripura and it is a fact that fortune of the country will not be changed unless progress in Tripura as well as Northeast Region is achieved – if BJP is voted into power, new State Government will focus on ‘HIRA’ and triple ‘T’. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said this today in an election rally at Sonamura under Sepahijala district. Prime Minister today morning reached at Tripura in a one-day poll campaign. He also assured, if BJP comes into power, it will implement recommendations of 7th CPC.
Lashing out at CPIM ruled State Government, PM Modi said, if people of Tripura oust CPIM and install BJP Government in Tripura, BJP would focus on HIRA which means ‘Highways, i-ways (digital way), roadways and Airways’. He said, for development of Tripura, rapid progress in these sectors are necessary. PM also mentioned that BJP-led Union Government has already converted the rail lines in Tripura into broad gauge (BG) lines and connected Agartala with nation’s capital. However, a BJP controlled State Government is necessary to properly utilize the infrastructure for the welfare of larger section of Tripura people.
Criticizing the LF Government on multiple issues, PM Modi mentioned about initiatives of the Central government for development of the country and implementing the ‘Act East’ Policy with special emphasis for development of the Northeast Region. He also mentioned about augmented allocation for ‘Bamboo Mission’ and urged people to extensively cultivate Bamboo to reap benefits of the Mission.
Focusing on BJP’s vision for Tripura, if voted into power, he said, BJP would stress on triple ‘T’ – Tea, Tourism and Training of youths. Amidst loud cheers, he urged voters to throw out ‘Manik’ ring from finger and pick up ‘HIRA’ clearly appealing people to vote for saffron party candidates.
In today’s meeting, PM Modi introduced BJP candidates of Sepahijala, Gomati and South Tripura districts. After Sonamura public rally PM Modi started for Kailasahar under Unakoti district to address another rally.
