February 26, 2018: Re-polling in six polling stations started today from 7am. According to reports available 37.07 per cent polling was recorded till 11am. Chief Electoral Officer Sriram Taranikanti said adequate security arrangements were made to ensure fair and free elections in six booths. He also said, there are around 5600 voters in six booths.
Even though no political parties demanded re-polls, EC has in its own capacity ordered re-poll in 26-Rajghat Uccha Bunayadi Vidyalaya (Uttarangsha) of 22-Sonamura AC, 08-Telkajla HS School (N/W) of 23-Dhanpur AC, 45-Vivekananda Dwadash Shreni Vidyalaya of 28-Teliamura AC, 48-Ludhuya High School (Purbangsha) of 40-Sabroom AC, 37-Mandaibari SB School of 41-Ampinagar (ST) AC, 09-Pearachara Tea Estate High School of 54-Kadamtala-Kurti AC.
