April 19, 2018: Tripura BJP president cum the Chief Minister Biplab Deb today slammed the CPIM and Congress after Supreme Court dismissed petitions seeking a SIT probe into death of Judge BH Loya. Biplab Deb accused CPM and Congress of defaming the BJP. Addressing a press conference today in Agartala, Biplab Deb demanded that CPM and Congress leaders must seek unconditional public apology after the Apex Court rejected demand for SIT over Loya’s death.
“It has been proved that CPM and Congress are involved in malicious campaign against BJP and conspiring against BJP and trying to mislead common people”, Deb claimed. He called upon people to remain vigilant against such campaigns.
After addressing the press meet, the Chief Minister flew to New Delhi today and is expected to meet a host Union Ministers to discuss development related issues, sources said.
