Agartala, June 25, 2019: TNGCL has decided to increase prices of CNG and PNG for both domestic and commercial units. A press release from TNGCL mentioned this today.
According to the press release, the price of CNG has been increased by Rs 3 – from exiting Rs 47 per kg to Rs 50 per kg. For households, TNGCL increased the price of the gas from the existing Rs 22 per unit to Rs 22.50 per unit.
Price of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) supplied to Government Quarters has been raised to Rs 28 per unit from existing Rs 27 per unit while for Commercial and Industrial establishment price of PNG was up by Rs 1.50 per unit from exiting Rs 26 per unit to Rs 27.50 per unit.
The increased price for PNG prices will be effective from June 21, 2019 and for CNG, it will be effective from the midnight of June 26, 2019.
TNGCL is Joint Venture of GAIL (India) Ltd, Govt of Tripura and Govt of Assam. TNGCL supplies Piped Natural Gas (PNG) in and around Agartala and currently serves around 40000 Domestic, 500+ Commercial and Small Industrial Consumers across Agartala. TNGCL operates 8 CNG stations and currently dispenses CNG to over 15000 vehicles every day.
