Assam Rifles has been conducting Substance Abuse workshops in the State to wean away population from the menace of Drugs.

Agartala, January 7, 2020 : Jawans of Assam Rifles (AR) conducted a Lecture on Substance Abuse at Jampuijala , District – Sepahilaja today.
The workshop was attended by 170 locals including students of Sudhaina Deb Barma High School , Shri Sanjit Deb Barma, SDM , Jampuijala and NGO namely Anti Drug Association, who were sensitised about drug addiction & its ill effects on individuals & Society. Locals were also informed about various kind of drugs, its effects and detoxification methods.
