Agartala, October 02, 2019: Jawans of Assam Rifles celebrated 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi by organising various events in Tripura.
A ‘ Run for Clean and Green India’ was organised at Agartala and Radhanagar. The event aimed at spreading message of Healthy living, Afforestation and keeping the environment Clean. In the programme, 340 locals participated.
‘ Swacchta Abhiyan’ campaigns were also organised at Udaipur under Gomati District and Bagbassa under North Tripura District. 270 locals enthusiastically participated in the cleanliness drive and pledged to keep their locality clean and green.
