April 08, 2018: The Chief Minister of Tripura Biplab Kumar Deb today stressed upon involving kids in cultural activities to help them to become ideal and patriotic citizen.
“If the children are involved in painting, singing and other such cultural activities, social vices like superstitions and inequalities will gradually go away from the society”, he said while speaking at a programme organized by Shilpangan child art training center to commemorate its 25th Foundation Day at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan in Agartala. He also distributed prizes to successful candidates.
Focusing on cultural traditions of the State, Biplab Deb said, Tripura has a rich cultural heritage. Such enriched culture, if properly practiced, desperation or frustration can not affect our mindset.
“Society can not be changed with the help of Police or administration – attitude of citizen is important and good attitude can be formed through cultural activities”, he opined.
