Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has shared both the updates on his official Facebook handle on Wednesday and thanked the WHO and the Central government for sending the oxygen concentrators.
A day after receiving 100 life-saving Oxygen Concentrators from the World Health Organization (WHO), Tripura has received more 10 Oxygen Concentrators, 36000 VTMs and twenty ventilators from the central government on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, the World Health Organization (WHO) had sent 100 life-saving Oxygen Concentrators to Tripura, to strengthen the fight against Covid 2.0.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has shared both the updates on his official Facebook handle and thanked the WHO and the Central government for sending the oxygen concentrators.
“…..This will further help us ramp up our medical infrastructure and ensure best health services for people of the state. We thank the WHO for sending these life-saving Oxygen Concentrators to Tripura,” Deb wrote.
In another consignment, the Central Government had sent more 10 Oxygen Concentrators, 36000 VTMs and twenty ventilators on Wednesday.
“We are grateful to Central government for providing 10 Oxygen Concentrators, 36000 VTM’s and 20 Ventilators. Thank you Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji and Shri Dr. Harsh Vardhan ji, these equipment will play an important role to strengthen our fight against the covid-19 pandemic,” Deb wrote in another post.
Meanwhile, MBB Airport’s official twitter handle said an Indian Air Force flight had carried more 50 Oxygen Concentrators, 14 Ventilators, PPE items, 70 test kits and accessories from Jorhat on Tuesday night. The MBB Airport, Agartala had to extend its watch hours up to 20:10 to receive the medical items.
