Tripura BJP state leaders discussed running public awareness programme on CAA

Agartala, December 17, 2019: Tripura unit of BJP held a meeting today with state-level leaders at BJP Pradesh headquarters. In the meeting leaders discussed in details formation of party’s 10 District Committees. The meeting was attended senior party leader Ajay Jamwal, party president Biplab Kumar Deb and others.
It is expected that the BJP will again a hold a meeting tomorrow to discuss the election of the state party president. The meeting will be attended by Bhupendra Yadav, BJP national general secretary.
Sources said, one of the main agenda of the today’s meeting was to find the ways to run a public awareness campaign about CAA. However, before launching awareness programme for people, a meeting would be organized with Mandal level leaders to make them understand the provisions of the CAA.
