Agartala Smart City Limited has brought laurels for the State as Agartala city has ranked top in ‘Best Sustainable Business Model of ICCC category’ for ‘Agartala ICCC’.
Dr Shailesh Yadav, the Commissioner of the Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC), Mission Director & Chief Executive Officer, Agartala Smart City Ltd (ASCL), Director received the award in Surat on Monday.
In a tweet, ASCL wrote, “Agartala Smart City Limited has received an award for Sustainable Business Model for Integrated Command Control Centre (ICCC) at Smart Cities Smart Urbanization event in Surat”.
A mega 3-day transformative conclave ‘Smart Cities Smart Urbanization’ has been started in Gujarat’s Surat on Monday.
Union Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep S Puri graced the ‘Smart Cities Smart Urbanization’ conclave. Besides, several other dignitaries and eminent members from the MoHUA also attended the conclave. The luminaries shared their views and awarded different states & cities for their remarkable efforts in strengthening the Smart City Mission (SCM).

In ‘Smart Cities Smart Urbanization’ conclave under the MoHUA, the winners of the ‘India Smart Cities Awards Contest 2020’ including Agartala were facilitated encouraging cities to adopt sustainable and smart solutions for urbanization development.
Minister Hardeep S Puri reviewed the innovative pavilions, which have showcased the transformative initiatives for shaping India’s urban future.
Manoj Joshi, the Secretary Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) reviewed the smart pavilions, portraying the sustainable approach to India’s urban landscape.
