Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Saturday said the communist culture of collecting subscriptions and exploiting the working class no longer exists in Tripura.
“The Communists are worse than the British; they had created a division among the SC, ST and General people. Politics is the profession of communists but BJP sees politics as a form of service to people,” Deb said at a programme in the city.
He said the present state government is now working with the goal to build a safe future for the new generation.
Addressing a seminar organized by Vivekananda Vichar Mancha at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan, he said, the state is now witnessing many new things.
Deb said, the state government already prepared a roadmap for the next 25 years up to 2047.
Apart from this, some of the other important steps of the government included 33 percent women reservation for government jobs, 100 Vidyajyoti Schools, working hostel for women employees, National Forensic Sciences University and Corpus Fund for encouraging new Start-ups, he said.
The government employees, he said, need to come forward with a positive attitude towards the goal of the government of building Atmanirbhar Tripura.
In his speech, Deb also encouraged the participants to regularly follow the Facebook pages and Twitter accounts of the Prime Minister and Chief Minister to stay updated on various government initiatives.
