Thousands of farmers in Gomati took a pledge that they will again form the pro-development double engine government in Tripura with a thumping majority, said president of BJP Kishan Morcha and MP Rajkumar Chahar.

 

Chahar was addressing a Kisan Sabha rally at Gomati District on Monday (Jan 2).

 

The president of the All India Kishan Morcha Rajkumar Chahar arrived in Agartala on Monday in a two-day visit ahead of the Assembly elections in Tripura. Rajkumar Chahar was welcomed by Pradesh Kisan Morcha including Pradesh Kisan Morcha president Jawahar Saha, Jaydev Debbarma and other workers of the organization at Agartala MBB Airport today.

 

Later, he was brought to the State Guest House in a bike procession from MBB Airport.

 

All India President of Kisan Morcha Rajkumar Chahar told reporters that all the frontal organizations of the BJP are working together ensure establishment of BJP government in the state in 2023 assembly elections for another term in Tripura.

 

He praised Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha and said the Chief Minister is doing a good job and Tripura is moving forward. The entire country is moving forward under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. While talking with the reporters he also highlighted a slew of projects initiated by the Government for the welfare of the farming community of the country.

 

Rajkumar Chahar, later went to attend a Vijay Sankalp Kishan Rally at Matabari Assembly constituency in Gomati District. BJP Tripura Pradesh president Rajib Bhattacharjee, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Pranajit Singha Roy and other leaders were present there.

 

Addressing the Vijay Sankalp Kishan Rally, Chahar highlighted several schemes and initiatives of Modi-led Government for the betterment of the farmers. He reiterated that doubling farmers’ earnings was the top priority and the target was achieved.

 

In this connection, Chahar mentioned about Krishak Samman Nidhi and such other schemes of the Government.

 

While speaking, Rajib Bhattacharjee and Pranajit Sigha Roy mentioned about paddy procurement drive which was started in Tripura after BJP government came into power in the State in 2018.
