A three years old girl was reportedly hacked to death by her father.
The shocking incident took place at Tripura Sundari Brick Klin at Maharani under Gomati District in Tripura on Sunday.
During the incident, victim’s mother was working at the Brick klin.
According to sources, the accused father, identified as Shiv Kumar attacked his daughter, Smita Kumari Chauhan, indiscriminately with a sharp weapon while she was sleeping out of a room in absence of victim’s mother.
After hacking her to death, Shiv Kumar who hails from Bihar tried to burn the body.
However, Shiv Kumar’s co-workers and others noticed this. They raised an alarm and informed Police.
Locals alleged Shiv Kumar was in an inebriated condition while committing the crime.
Police arrested Shiv Kumar.
