Founder Secretary of Mizo Convention Jampui Hill in Tripura, LM Sailo, passed away at 91 years of age at 8 pm on Monday (31st July, 2023) after a prolonged illness.
Known as an upright and honest man, He was an educator and worked in the Education Department of Tripura in various capacities until he retired as District Planning Officer.
His last rite will be held at his home at Behliangchhip, Jampui Hill in Tripura on August 1. A pall of gloom descended in the area as the report of the veteran person spread.
