Golden Valley High School holds Science Exhibition and Seminar
Dharmanagar, Dec 29: Golden Valley High School in Dharmanagar successfully organized a science exhibition and seminar on December 29, 2025, on the school campus with enthusiastic participation from students.
A total of 36 innovative science models were displayed by the students, reflecting their creativity, scientific temperament, and practical understanding of scientific concepts. Alongside the exhibition, a seminar titled “Reducing Plastic Pollution” was also held, highlighting the importance of environmental awareness and sustainable practices.
OSD from the District Education Office, Kriti Sundar Dey, and Samir Ranjan Debnath graced the occasion with their presence. Their participation encouraged the students and added significance to the event.
After careful evaluation, 10 students were selected as prize winners for their outstanding models and presentations.

School Principal Manas Dey highly appreciated the efforts of all participants and expressed sincere gratitude to the science teachers and parents for their continuous support, guidance, and encouragement, which played a vital role in the success of the programme.
The event proved to be a meaningful platform for nurturing scientific curiosity among students and promoting environmental awareness.

Activities such as science exhibitions, seminars, hands-on experiments, and interactive discussions encourage students to ask questions, explore ideas, and apply theoretical knowledge to real-life situations. Early exposure to such platforms not only strengthens scientific understanding but also fosters innovation, environmental awareness, and a lifelong interest in learning.
