A day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s twin rally in Tripura, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma continued to tear up the Opposition parties in his own style while BJP MP, the ‘dream girl’ Hema Malini got applause for her soft yet powerful speeches.

 

“It is because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that India is presiding over the G-20. India is shining in the world arena because of the Prime Minister and owing to the initiatives of the Modi-led Government women of this country are now much more self-reliant and empowered, said Hema Malini on Friday (Feb 10) while taking part in election rallies in Tripura for upcoming Assembly polls.

 

Hema-Malini-Tripura-CM-Dr-Manik-SahaHema Malini took part in three poll campaigns in support of BJP candidates at Hrishyamukh in South Tripura, at Bagma in Gomati district and Shantipara in Agartala today.

 

At Shantipara, the dream girl campaigned for Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha and she urged people to vote for Dr Saha ensuring his victory with a huge margin. Amidst all the seriousness, Hema Malini was seen clicking selfie with Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha at Shantipara – as the photo of her clicking selfie were doing rounds, people found it a ‘dream moment with the dream girl’.

 

“Normally, individuals rush to click selfie with Hema Malini – here, it was just opposite. She was taking selfie with our Chief Minister”, an excited young supporter exalted as he was sharing the photograph in social media.

 

Himanta Biswa Sharma continued for another day in lashing out the Opposition parties and lauding the achievements of the BJP government. He unleashed a volley of verbal attacks on the Opposition in Support of BJP-IPFT candidates at Jolaibari (ST), Mandwi (ST) and Agartala Assembly constituencies.

 

In all the seats, close contests are on the cards and Himanta Biswa Sharma also pitched hard for the BJP-IPFT candidates and highlighted the benefits of the double engine government.

 

He highlighted the welfare measures and developmental activities, in particular, for Janajati people and urged them to vote for creation of double engine government, once again, for more development and improvement of Janajati communities.
