Agartala Dec 10: Indigo has regained full operational punctuality at Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport Agartala after facing service disruptions between November 29 and December 9, 2025. A total of 39 flights were cancelled during this period, affecting large numbers of passengers.

This information was shared with the media in a press briefing hosted today by MBB Airport Agartala at the Airport Director’s Conference Hall.

Citing information shared by the airline, the official said, baggage for all disrupted flights has been successfully delivered and refunds have been processed up to December 9. Indigo has also scheduled an additional Delhi flight on December 9 to accommodate remaining affected travellers.

The airline confirmed that its On-Time Performance (OTP), which had dipped during the disruption period, has been stable at 100% since December 7. Officials expect smooth operations to continue, with flight services gradually returning to normal.

Highlighting the steps taken during Indigo flight crisis period, the officials said Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport in Agartala has undertaken extensive measures to assist passengers after 39 Indigo flights were cancelled between November 29 and December 9, 2025. As flight disruptions led to inconvenience for travellers, airport teams remained on-ground throughout, offering continuous support.

To ease passenger flow, the AAI Agartala management arranged additional seating inside and outside the terminal, strengthened toilet sanitation and ensured uninterrupted access to clean drinking water. Snacks, beverages and other essentials were made available, while food outlets were instructed to operate till the last departure without increasing prices.

AAI officials stated that the focus has been on maintaining comfort and steady passenger movement throughout the disruption. The airport continues to monitor operations while assuring travellers of necessary assistance.
