As the report of fatal road accident in Ladakh in which seven Army personnel were killed, poured in several political persons expressed grief over the loss of lives of the soldiers.
Earlier, President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered condolences to families of the jawans killed in the accident in Ladakh.
Union Minister of State of Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhoumik, MP from Tripura Rebati Tripura, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Information and Cultural Affairs (ICA) Minister Sushanta Chowdhury and others expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and wished speedy recovery of the wounded soldiers.
In a tweet, MoS Pratima Bhoumik wrote, “Deeply saddened to know about the loss of lives of Army personnel in a tragic accident in Ladakh. My condolences to their bereaved families and prayers for the injured for fast recovery”.
MP from East Parliamentary constituency of Tripura, Rebati Tripura tweeted, “I am deeply saddened to know about the incident in #Ladakh in which we have lost 7 of our Indian Army jawans. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and pray for the injured ones for faster recovery”.
Agriculture Minister Pranajit Singha Roy tweeted, “Saddened to know about the tragic death of seven Indian Army jawans in a road mishap in Ladakh. Condolences to their bereaved families and I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured”.
Taking to social media, ICA Minister Sushanta Chowdhury wrote, “I am deeply saddened at the tragic death of 7 (seven) Indian Army personnel in a bus accident on the Shyok River in Ladakh. I am expressing my deepest sympathies to the families of the brave soldiers. I wish a speedy recovery of the injured 19 Army personnel who were admitted to the Panchkula Hospital in Haryana.
