Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan performed puja at Mata Tripura Sundari Temple, one of the 51 Piths, on Friday.
He was welcomed at the Matabari by the Minister of Agriculture, Transport and Tourism Department of Tripura, Pranajit Singh Roy. Matabari MLA Biplab Kumar Ghosh, BJP district president Abhishek Deb Roy and other leaders were also present.
After arriving at the Matabari, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan along with his family worshiped Tripura Sundari Maa. He planted trees in the temple premises on this day. Later, he went to Kalyansagar and feed the fish and turtles. On earlier, occasion, when he was the in charge of the membership drive, Chauhan came to the state and offered puja at the Tripurasundari temple.
He said that he performed puja for the well-being of the people of the country and Madhya Pradesh. Shivraj Singh Chouhan prayed for the progress and development of the country and to continue providing better services to the public through good works.
Minister Pranajit Singh Roy detailed the works of the PRASAD project which are under construction at Matarbari. Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed his satisfaction after seeing the work of PRASAD project.
The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh also visited Sepahijala Zoo today. He was accompanied by Pranajit Singha Roy, Forest Officer of the Sepahijala District Pritam Bhattacharjee and others. Amidst serene natural beauty, enclosures of birds and animals grabbed his attention. He also expressed happiness seeing the clouded leopard.
Even as he was keen to see spectacle monkey, he could not owing shortage of time.
