Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhowmik flayed CPIM and Congress while addressing a poll campaign at Pramodnagar-Kalyanpur Assembly Constituency under Khowai district in Tripura on Sunday (Jan 22).
She said, the people of the State gave Congress and CPIM rejected in the last 2018 Assembly polls and in the upcoming 2023 polls, voters will be united and will drive out both Congress and CPIM of the State.
Bhowmik also said CPIM ka Saath, Sab ka Vinash, commented Union MoS Pratima Bhowmik at Kalyanpur on Sunday.
The meeting was organized by the Kishan Morcha of Kalyanpur Mandal.
Taking a jibe at the alliance between the Congress and CPM, Pratima Bhowmik said, it is terrible to think how the Congress and CPM supporters would meet the families of those who were murdered during Congress-TUJS and CPIM regimes. However, she said the affinity between Congress and CPIM is nothing new.
While lambasting Congress and CPIM, the Union MoS made a clarion call to keep faith in the double-engine government for the sake of uninterrupted development of the State.
She said that CPIM was trying to mislead people alleging that BJP did nothing good for the people of the State. To this end, Bhowmik commented the double-engine government keeping in mind the Vision Document worked for the increment of social allowances, implementation of Kishan Samman Niddhi, and improvement of rail, air and road connectivity. As a result, the overall socio-economic condition of the people could be improved.
Pratima Bhowmik appealed to people to remain alert and defy any conspiracy against BJP. She told the people, “Collectively vote against the Left Front and Congress on February 16 and join the victory march on March 2 next”.
Notably, Assembly Polls in Tripura will be conducted at February 16 and counting will be held on March 2 next.
