The BJP-IPFT government has now decided to offer job to relatives of persons who had lost their lives in political violence till March 9, 2018.
Law minister Ratanlal Nath has announced this in a press conference at civil secretariat on Thursday.
He said a good number of job applications from the families of such persons, who died in political clash, had already been submitted to the state government.
To complete the process, the state government has formed a scrutiny committee headed by the Law Minister.
The other members of the committee are Law Secretary, one DGP-nominated IGP, Secretary (in-charge) of ICA department, and Additional or Joint Secretary of Revenue department. The Director of the ICA department will function as Convener. However, if the committee feels necessary, invitee members can also be included, Nath said while briefing the Media.
“Family of any victim died in political violence till March 9, 2018 may collect application form from respective SDM office. Once the application is submitted, the authority concerned will take necessary steps as per the guidelines. In case of political murder, it has to be certified by the Superintendent of Police (SPs) of the respective areas,” Nath told the Reporters.
In the meantime, the first meeting of the scrutiny committee was held on Thursday. Total 10 applications had been placed before the committee. Among them seven applications were found to be valid by the committee headed by Law minister Ratanlal Nath (chairman). While the committee already recommended jobs for six applicants, the other application was sent to the cabinet for taking decision since the candidate didn’t fulfil the educational criteria.
