The ‘Prati Ghare Sushason’ campaign that started by Tripura Government on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birth day on September 17 last benefitted 23 lakh people of the State – the campaign formally ended on Former Prime Minister later Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth anniversary on December 25 with a special emphasis on ‘Good Governance through e-Governance’.
The Prati Ghare Sushason Campaign aimed at generating awareness among people about central and state government’s welfare schemes, delivering government services at the doorstep and registering public grievances on implementation of the schemes etc.
During the valedictory programme of the Prati Ghare Sushason Campaign, Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha in presence of Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma, Assembly Speaker Ratan Chakraborty, ICA Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, Agriculture Minister Pranajit Singha Roy and other dignitaries released the ‘Report card’ of the Prati Ghare Sushason Campaign in Agartala on December 25.
As per the Report Card, total 23 lakhs people from all the eight districts of the state were benefited with different government schemes and projects under the ‘Prati Ghare Sushason’ campaign.
Total 1400 Vikas Sabhas were held in Blocks, Local Body areas, Panchayat and Village Committee areas. Total 1513 camps were held at the Sectoral level and District level Vikas Melas were held in each of the eight districts as part of the Campaign.
At least 8,6000 houses across the state were connected with free piped-line water supply under the Jal Jeevan Mission, 8,4779 farmers of the state were benefited by the Pradhan Mantri Kissan Sanmannidhi Yojana and as many as 6,9858 farmers were brought under the coverage of Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana and more than 25000 farmers received Soil Health cards/Kishan Credit cards.
On the job opportunity side, total 18,424 people were benefited by the Mukhyamantri Swanirbhar Yojana, 59,209 familes were benefitted under the Mukhyamantri Swanirbhar Parivar Yojana, Under the Tripura Gramin Jeevika Mission, total 13026 persons were benefitted and 1,41,784 were REGA beneficiaries.
On the Social Welfare front, total 4,59,723 persons received ration free of cost under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana and there are total 62,823 beneficiaries in the State under the National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP).
Apart from service delivery, series of project works were launched during the period which included opening of state’s first Drone Technology Centre at TIT, Narshingarh, first women police station in Khowai Tripura district, opening of Tripura Film & Television Institute at Agartala Nazrul Kalakshetra and other projects.
