The President of India Draupadi Murmu will arrive in Agartala in a two-day visit on October 12 next.
After landing at the MBB Airport in Agartala at 11.15 am, the president will be given a Guard of Honor. Later, President Murmu will inaugurate Tripura Judicial Academy and lay foundation stone of Tripura National Law University at Narsingarh in Agartala.
The President will virtually inaugurate several projects at Rabindra Sata Barshiki Bhawan on the same day.
According to draft itinerary issued by the President’s secretariat, Draupadi Murmu will virtually inaugurate MLA Hostel at capital complex in Agartala. She will also virtually lay foundation stone of multiple projects including Maharaja Birendra Kishore Manikya Musuem & Cultural Centre at Pushpabanta Palace, Darbar Hall and Ancillary Building in Agartala. Besides, the President will virtually dedicate Nischintapur Trans-shipment Yard to the country.
She will be given a Civic reception at 6.30 pm at the Town Hall in Agartala followed by a banquet at Rajbhavan in Agartala.
On October 13, the President will arrive at Agartala Railway Station at 9.15 am and flag off Guwahati to Kolkata Exp upto Agartala and Extension of Agartala-Jiribam-Agartala jan Shatabdi Express upto Khongsasng (Manipur).
The President of India will visit Maa Tripureswari Temple on the same day. Later, she will leave Agartala for Guwahati at 12.10 pm.
