To be successful in life, one needs to practice keeping one’s mind steady. And meditation can keep a person’s mind calm and steady. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working for the welfare of the people by keeping his mind steady, said Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb after inaugurating the silver jubilee celebration of Godly services of Prajapita Brahma Kumari Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya in Tripura at Tapobhumi, Aralia, Agartala on Saturday.

He said, one must properly know the good qualities inside himself. But it is seen that people are always busy judging others’ fault. It is possible for people to know the world if they know themselves well. Everyone needs to have a positive mindset, as this positive mindset provides one the energy to work. It is due to the positive mindset of the Prime Minister that now people are able to avail benefits from different kinds of schemes from birth till death. The Prime Minister has emphasized on timely completion of all the projects launched so far. If the central governments of the past could have done their job on time, the country would have reached the peak of development long ago.

The Tripura Chief Minister said, the Prime Minister had announced providing free drinking water connection to every household through Jal Jeevan Mission by 2024. The state government is working towards the goal to provide free drinking water to every household in the state under the guidance of the Prime Minister. Only 2.4% of households had access to drinking water before 2018, now it has increased to 55%. He said, to change the world, one must first change himself. Although the task is difficult, efforts must continue.

MLA Rebati Mohan Das, Brahmakumaris Tripura and Bangladesh Chapter In-charge BK Kavita Didiji, Director of Brahmakumaris Gujarat Centre BK Sarada Dadiji, Joint Head of Brahmakumaris BK Santosh Didiji also spoke on the occasion. Other dignitaries present were Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumdar, MLA Dr. Dilip Kumar Das and Deputy Speaker of Tripura Legislative Assembly Biswabandhu Sen. During the programme, the Brahmakumari sisters handed over presents to the Chief Minister and other guests.
