In view of the dawn-to-dusk strike call on Monday by a Student’s body in the State, Tripura Government directed the concerned head of the departments and organizations etc to maintain normal flow of activities in Government and other such organizations in the State.
The Government has also directed the Police administration to ensure proper arrangements for maintaining law and order in all the Government and such organizations.
In a memorandum signed by the Principal Secretary to the Government of Tripura it has been mentioned, “Some Students’ Organization has called 12 hours Tripura Bandh on January 17. 2022 from 5 AM to 5 PM”.
“It is imperative that, all the Govt. offices, PSUs and Autonomous Bodies/ Boards under the State Government should function normally on the day of the Bandit and also all Government employees and employees of all PSUs/ Autonomous Bodies/ Boards should perform their duties as usual on that day”, the memorandum read.
“Any violation of the above instructions by the Government employees and employees of PSUs/ Organizations will be viewed seriously. All the Principal Secretaries/ Secretaries / Special Secretaries and Heads of the Departments are requested to bring this instruction to the notice of all employees under their administrative control. Attendance report of Offices/ PSUs/ Autonomous Bodies/ Boards on the day of the Bandh may be furnished to the GA(AR) Department by 12:00 noon on the January 17, 2022 positively (through email id The Director General of Police is requested to maintain Law Ss Order arrangements on the day of the Bandh i.e. January 17, 2022 in all Government Offices and PSUs/Organizations.
