Rajya Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb dubbed the Congress and CPIM as evil demonic power and exuded confidence that Durga-like powerful women of the State would give them a befitting reply in a democratic manner in upcoming Assembly Polls.
In a whirlwind tour, Deb took part in several programmes in Unakoti District on Monday (Jan 2).
In a hard hitting speech at a Vijay Sankalp rally organized by the Fatikroy Mandal in Unakoti District, Biplab Kumar Deb lashed out at the secret and ‘unholy’ friendship between the Congress and CPIM. He alleged, this under the carpet relationship between the two parties kept Tripura deprived for a long time. Referring to the attendance in the Vijay Sankalp rally, Deb said sponteneous participation of large crowd indicates BJP’s big victory in 2023 Assembly polls.
Continuing his verbal tirade, Deb said ousting the CPIM in 2018 would not be possible, if Congress would be the main Opposition party at that time in Tripura.
“With the unrelenting efforts of BJP, a change of guard became a reality. Moreover, a change of society under the leadership of Modiji is becoming possible. To continue the flow of development in the state, it is important that the BJP government returns to power with more support in 2023”, Deb commented.
Earlier, Deb exchanged views with the workers of the Murthychara tea garden in Chandipur Assembly and also interacted with the tea workers in the Jagannathpur Bagan in Fatikroy today. He highlighted several initiatives of the Government for the welfare of tea garden workers and said, “With the sincere efforts of the present government, they are moving towards a secure future. Various plans have been formulated based on priority to build their prosperous future and fulfill their expectations”.
Deb further said, “Delivering all rights to tea garden workers is one of our priorities”.
