Tripura Pradesh BJP has reshuffled its State Committee as well as appointed new State level chiefs for its different Morcha organisations.
Among the notables, Subal Bhowmik has been reappointed as one of Vice presidents of the Tripura Pradesh BJP State Committee while former Speaker Rebati Mohan Das has been replaced as the Vice president.
Among other notables, former MLA Mimi Majumder has been made president of Mahila Morcha while sitting MLA Sushanta Deb has been appointed as Yuva Morcha president.
State BJP president, Rajib Bhattacharjee, released the new committee list in Agartala on Saturday.
Apart from Subal Bhowmik, other vice presidents of the State are Dr. Ashok Sinha, Bimal Chakma, Tapas Bhattacharjee, Papia Dutta, and Patal Kanya Jamatia.
Besides, MLAs Bhagwan Das, Amit Rakshit, and Bipin Debbarma have been appointed as state general secretaries.
Similarly, Tapas Majumder, David Debbarma, Ratan Ghosh, Mousumi Das, Bhumika Nanda Reang, and Ajanta Bhattacharya have been designated as state secretaries.
Nagadhiraj Dutta and Mrinal Kanti Nath have been entrusted with the role of state treasurers, while Mihir Sarkar will assume the position of office secretary.
Ahead of the impending Lok Sabha election, State BJP has also revamped the Morcha organisations at the State level.
While Mimi Majumder and Sushanta Deb have been given president’s post of the State Mahila Morcha and State Yuva Morcha respectively, other Morcha organisations have also seen changes.
Arvind Das has been appointed as the State SC Morcha president, Parimal Debbarma as the president of Janjati Morcha, Malina Debnath as the president of OBC Morcha, Pradeep Baran Roy as the president of Kishan Morcha, and Billal Miah as the president of State Minority Morcha.
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha congratulated the new inductees.
Party sources hinted at changes in District Committees of the party with an aim to ensure thumping victory for party candidates in both the Lok Sabha seats in Tripura.
