In a resounding show of conviction, Dr. Manik Saha, the Chief Minister of Tripura, unleashed an unyielding tirade against the CPIM and Congress parties on Monday, accusing them of a grave lapse in their responsibility to foster development within the Boxanagar region. The fiery address comes as the impending by-poll is scheduled to be held on September 5.

Dr. Saha wholeheartedly threw his support behind Tafajjal Hossain, the BJP’s nominated contender from Boxanagar. He marked his presence at an array of meticulously planned organizational events, effectively galvanizing a burgeoning wave of enthusiasm among the electorates and party supporters.

The Chief Minister fervently conveyed that the voters of this vital constituency are unequivocally gravitating away from the political precepts propagated by the CPIM and Congress, instead opting to embrace the shining lotus emblem of the BJP.

A a joining programme over 200 former adherents of CPIM and Congress collectively shifted their allegiance to the Bharatiya Janata Party. This shift unfolded during two distinct and significant gatherings, both graced by the presence of the Chief Minister himself. The resonance of the Chief Minister’s vision for progress was palpable, party sources claimed.

Making an impassioned plea to the public to rally behind the BJP in the by-poll, Dr. Saha articulated in no uncertain terms that the CPIM had long championed a divisive and manipulative political agenda. Conversely, he emphasized that the BJP had steadfastly maintained an authentic and robust connection with the populace. Underscoring his stance, he pointed out that the developmental initiatives spearheaded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi are profoundly entrenched in progress-oriented ideals, a sentiment harmoniously echoed by the earnest endeavors of the state government.

The robust schedule comprised a spirited Padayatra in Maynama, and addressed Karyakartas of Booths 45, 46, and 47 within the 20-Boxanagar constituency. The Padayatra culminated in a thought-provoking discourse with eminent intellectuals, Imams, and representatives of the Minority community at the Swami Vivekananda Sardha Shatabarshiki Bhavan. The day’s engagements reached their zenith with a rousing address to the Janajati Karyakartas at the Dhanirampur ADC community hall in Boxanagar.
