Atal Jaldhara: Drinking water connection in Jirania
Drinking water connection is being given to every house of different blocks under Jirania sub-division under Atal Jaldhara Mission. So far, clean drinking water connection has been provided to 7 thousand 156 families of Jirania block, 4 thousand 149 families of Belbari block, 5 thousand 315 families of Old Agartala block. Besides that, 5 deep tube wells and 8 mini deep tube wells are being installed to meet the demand for water in Jirania block. 7 new iron removal plant are being set up in Jirania block. 1 iron removal plant has already been set up in Old Agartala block and 2 more plants are being set up. 1 iron removal plant is being set up in Belbari block. Social pension to 16,747 beneficiaries
Social pensions are being given under different central and state government schemes to 16 thousand 747 beneficiaries of Salema and Durga Chowmuni block under Dhalai district. Among these beneficiaries, 6 thousand 624 of them are getting social pension under central government scheme and 10 thousand 123 of them are getting social pension under state government scheme. Apart from them, 1 thousand 52 beneficiaries of Kamalpur Nagar Panchayat area are being given social pension under different central and state governmental schemes. Among these beneficiaries,258 are getting social pension under central government scheme and 794 of them under state government scheme. PMAY-G: Housing to 555 families in Raisyabari
Housing facilities are being given 555 beneficiary families of Raisyabari block under Gandatwisa (previously known as Gandacherra) sub-division in the present financial year under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin scheme. 517 beneficiary families have received their first installment of 48 thousand rupees. 79 beneficiary families have received their second installment of 50 thousand rupees. 1 lakh 30 thousand rupees will be spent in building each house. Total 7 crore 20 lakh 20 thousand rupees will be spent to construct all the houses. This was informed by Dhalai District Magistrate & Collector’s office.
