2-day workshop on Vision 2047 ends

 

The Vision 2047 has been outlined considering building the future of Gen Next. So, it is necessary to aware students and youths about the objective and target of the Vision – 2047, said Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on the valedictory day of two-day workshop on Vision 2047 ended on Saturday.

He said, “To make the Vision 2047 successful, the thoughts of the youth must be connected with the Vision. The students should be made aware about the crucial projects of the State government. This will help the students to be prepared for future career from the beginning”.

He also advised to organize workshop, if necessary, for the concerned officials of different departments to ensure better coordination with the school. Deb also stressed on involving all the women of age above 25 with earning activities.   

 

Minority Rights Day observed

 

The 29th Minority Rights Day observed at Rabindra Chowmuhani of Sonamura sadar in Tripura on Saturday.  The day was declared as the Minority Rights Day on December 18 in 1992. But for the first time, the day was celebrated in Sonamura today.  Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhowmik was the chief guest of the programme. 

Speaking on the occasion she said, Division of people on the basis of number in race, religion, language and community is not a good for society. 

Meanwhile, she thanked people for ensuring victory to BJP candidates in recent civic poll. Referring to several welfare initiatives of the government, Bhowmik said a total of 2,21,543 beneficiaries got houses in the state under the PMAY of which 8.3 percent houses went to the minority people.
