Anuradha Paudwal to offer puja at Tripureswari Temple
Renowned musician Anuradha Paudwal arrived in the state on Saturday for one day tour. She was welcomed at the MBB airport in Agartala by BJP state general secretary Papia Dutta and others.
Paudwal said that her reason for coming to Tripura was to go to the Tripureswari temple and offer puja to Maa Tripura Sundari Devi.
The singer also made a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb’s residence. Deb welcomed her and in a Facebook post, the Chief Minister wrote, “It was an honour to host the world-famous Indian, Singer, Anuradha Paudwal Ji at the residence today. Gifted her bamboo artefacts made by our beloved artisans.”
“Anuradha Ji has come to seek the blessings of Maa Tripurasundari & to witness the beauty of #Tripura.”
Deb also wrote, “My mother has always been very fond of the devotional songs sung by Anuradha Paudwal Ji. It was wonderful to have her interact with my mother during her visit to the state.”
Vivekananda Vichar Manch to enhance livelihood of Antyodaya group
Aiming to enhance the livelihood of the Antyodaya families in the rural areas across the state, the Vivekananda Vichar Manch (VVM) on Saturday held a discussion meeting here at Agartala Muktadhara auditorium.
The VVM general secretary Tapan Das said that the meeting mainly focused on forming a next course of action towards enhancing the livelihood of the Antyodaya families in the rural pockets of the state who were working under the banner of VVM in the Rural Livelihood Mission project.
He said that the VBM was committed to develop the economic status of the Antyodaya families through Self Help Groups and in addition to this the VVM had mulled to add yet another feather to the organization with a plan for enhancing livelihood of the Antyodaya families in rural pockets of the state.
